Transformative female rage

"Transformative female rage":
You know,
the kind of rage that upends everything that needs upending. The mother of life and death. The uprising of real life after pleasing, good girl chokeholds. The rage that closely coexist with bliss. The feeling that’s best described in a painting
Interpretation and meaning:
It is a piece painted intuetively, and the description and title is what it means to me as the artist. I am always happy to let the painting speak to the viewer as they interpret and experience it themselves, making the painting evermore alive. My interpretation lays in the energy and feelings I experience with it, and it is further interpreted though the meaning of the yellow bunny that appears at the top of the painting. With it there is a profile of a woman facing the opposite direction, in deep indigo under the bunny. My friend pointed out that right next to the bunny, you can see the outline of the face of a cat.
Looking into the symbolism of these three elements appearing, they connected to the theme of transformative female rage in the following way:
For generations, the feminine has been taught to swallow its fire, creating a suffocating cage of compliance and people-pleasing. This piece is the visual eruption of that cage shattering.
Transformative Female Rage captures the alchemy of anger turning into liberation. At the base, a woman defined by dark, subterranean hair reaches upward—a manifestation of the wild, instinctual self navigating her way out of the shadows.
She is not climbing into violence, but into light. She rises through a swirl of yellow, the color of the solar plexus, the seat of personal power and sovereignty. Out of this golden swirl, a rabbit and a cat emerge side by side.
Once a symbol of the innocent victim, the rabbit here is reclaimed as a beacon of sharp instinct, rapid maneuverability, and rebirth. Beside it, the cat emerges as the ultimate embodiment of radical independence, mystery, and fierce boundaries — a creature that never begs for approval. Together, they represent the integration of the feminine psyche: the rabbit provides the hyper-awareness to sense the chokeholds, while the cat brings the sovereign power to break free from them.
It is a reminder that breaking free from the shackles of society does not require becoming hardened or cruel. It requires trusting the quiet, electric pulse of your own intuition, embracing your wild autonomy, and having the courage to leap into your own sovereignty.
